Everything I've Ever Learned From Photography: What To Expect From This Photography Blog

Join the journey as I share what I have learned from wedding photography as I give insight on what to look for in your wedding photographer, keys to having a smooth wedding day, recommendations of local Tennessee wedding venues, wedding photography tips, portrait photography tips, pre-photoshoot tips, and so much more. I have many ideas, thoughts, inspirations, and convictions and instead of continuing my endless note tab, I plan on letting this be my outlet. This blog is for all those having their photos taken (from weddings to general portraits) and the photo-taker (aka photographers) to be encouraged and inspired, and my hope is to write with Christ Jesus being the center of everything to give glory to God in heaven.

About the Photographer

My name is Keegan! I'm 22 years old and live in Smyrna, TN. I have a beautiful wife and we are approaching our first anniversary--very exciting! We are actually middle-school sweethearts if you can believe that. We have a Rhodesian Ridgeback/Lab that found me while I was walking ironically. I love my Savior, Jesus, and try my best to make His name known in all that I do. I have been taking photos ever since I was 13 years old and have been established as a business for the last three years. I value memories... Have you ever tried to recall a childhood story and as time progresses the story's edges get rounded over time, if that makes sense? It happens to us all and there is no reason to let that be the case for your wedding. One of the biggest days of your life. Photography (and video) preserves memories, and that is the business I'm involved in.

For Those Getting Married

I want to pour out all my insight of not just wedding photography-related topics, but also all things wedding that will help you. Local venue recommendations, what to look for in a wedding photographer, keys to a smooth wedding timeline, etc... I have shot several weddings and picked up on more than just photography. I want to share that with you because I know planning a wedding can be intimidating. One thing I always aim for when I am photographing a wedding is to make sure the couple is at ease as much as possible and just focused on getting married.

For the Photographer

I hope to share what I have picked up along the way since I began taking photos at the age of 13. I don't know everything but I’ve gathered both good and bad experiences and I believe there is value in sharing these types of things. I hope you will be willing to reach out to me and share what you have learned on this journey too. I hope to create a space that helps promote growth and community among photographers, especially in this Middle Tennessee area.
